      <description>&lt;p&gt;Tras completar la inmunodetección con anticuerpos primario y secundario, el siguiente paso crítico en el western blot es la detección e imagen de la señal. Esta etapa transforma la unión anticuerpo–antígeno en una señal cuantificable, y la elección del método de detección, del sustrato, del sistema de revelado y de los parámetros de adquisición condiciona directamente la posibilidad de interpretar cuantitativamente los datos
